Prince Louis Receives Loving Embrace from Older Sister Charlotte in Heartwarming Photos
The newest addition to the royal family, Prince Louis, has been captured in heartwarming photographs with his older sister, Princess Charlotte.
The touching snaps were taken by their mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, and released yesterday, giving the public the first glimpses of the Prince since he was taken home from St Mary's Hospital 13 days ago.
In the first photo, Charlotte is seen giving her baby brother a gentle kiss to wake him from his peaceful slumber.
The second photograph shows the pink-cheeked Prince Louis looking much more alert as he takes in his new surroundings at Kensington Palace.
The photographs strongly resemble those that the Duchess took of Princess Charlotte as a newborn when she was cradled by her older brother, Prince George.
In the new images, Charlotte, who turns three on Wednesday, is immediately warming up to her big sister role.

She is seen resting baby Louis in her lap and instinctively placing a protective arm around him.
The last time the public saw Charlotte was when she arrived at the West London Hospital to meet Louis for the first time with her father, the Duke of Cambridge, and four-year-old George, who is absent from the latest pictures, possibly because they were taken while he was at school.
