Princess Anne Warns Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Against Progressive Stance
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, recently stepped down as senior members of the royal family in March.
Their announcement to become financially independent and split their time between America and the UK in January has caused quite a stir.
The Queen has stopped the couple from working under their royal titles, but Princess Anne has now warned them against their progressive stance towards the monarchy.
Princess Anne, 61, has previously stated that she doesn't believe the younger generation understands what she was doing in the past.
She believes that they are more focused on finding new ways of doing things and reinventing the wheel, rather than looking at what has worked in the past.
According to her, some things just don't work, and it may be necessary to go back to basics.

Her comments come as royal expert Angela Mallard has also warned the couple against their plans.
Speaking on the New Ideas Royals podcast, Ms. Mallard compared their proposed interview to Princess Diana's after divorcing Prince Charles.
She believes that Meghan will be hammered because she doesn't have the same level of public affection.
Ms. Mallard went on to say that if the couple were to sit down with Oprah and speak in any detail about the royal family, it would be a car crash similar to Prince Andrew's scandal.
Despite the warnings, the couple has launched their new charitable organization named Archule.
Harry and Meghan have said that they are excited to launch the foundation, which will replace their Sussex Royal brand.
Their plans reportedly include their own charity as well as a website.
They have also revealed that the Greek word “Arch,” meaning source of action, was the inspiration behind their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor's name.
However, further details about the organization have been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
An announcement will be made when the time is right, according to the couple.
It is unclear what the charity's focus will be, but Harry and Meghan have previously expressed their desire to focus on issues such as mental health, women's empowerment, and the environment.
It remains to be seen how the royal family will react to the couple's continued efforts to distance themselves from the monarchy.
The Queen has made it clear that they cannot use their royal titles for commercial purposes, and their future relationship with the family is uncertain.
