Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli-Mosi Quietly Christen Daughter Sienna Elizabeth

and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli-Mosi, have reportedly christened their seven-month-old daughter, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli-Mosi, in a private ceremony at Chapel Royal St. James's Palace.

Family members joined the couple on Friday for the quiet event, which was not publicly announced.

According to Hello!

Magazine, , Beatrice's sister, and her mother, Sarah Ferguson, were among those present.

While no details of the ceremony have been shared, it is believed that Beatrice may have wanted to wait a little longer before christening her child, following in the footsteps of her mother, who christened Beatrice when she was four months old and Eugenie when she was nine months old.

Last November, it was suggested that Sienna would be christened alongside other family members, but the infant was only two months old at the time.

Edoardo had a son, Christopher Wolfe, with American architect Dara Hung in 2016, but after their relationship ended, he met and married Beatrice in 2020.

Last September, Buckingham Palace officially announced the arrival of Sienna, who was born on September 18th, 2021, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

The new baby's grandparents and great-grandparents were delighted with the news, and the family thanked the hospital staff for their care.

The christening news comes after Beatrice and Edoardo travelled to Stockholm this week to attend the world's first Dyslexia Conference in Sweden.

Beatrice, who was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, is an ambassador for the global charity Made by Dyslexia, which aims to transform the perception of dyslexia by training teachers and workplaces to support and empower dyslexic minds.

She has long been using her voice to create awareness about dyslexia and the tools available to help those who have it.

During an interview with Hello!

Magazine, Beatrice described dyslexia as a gift that has allowed her to look at things in a new way and come up with solutions.

She also revealed that her husband Eduardo also has the condition.

Beatrice considers herself lucky to have dyslexia and is grateful for the support available through the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity, of which she is patron.

Beatrice and Edoardo's trip to Stockholm was their first official engagement since Edo joined the royal family.

While Edo has accompanied his wife to important events in the past, the couple had never taken an official trip abroad together until now.

The couple's wedding in 2020 was a special event, as it had been postponed and changed due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown.

The family members were overjoyed to share the day together, with Beatrice even wearing a modified wedding dress that belonged to her grandmother, the Queen.

Beatrice and Edoardo have been making headlines since they tied the knot in July 2020, and the christening of their daughter is yet another milestone in their journey together.

As they continue to navigate their roles in the royal family and make a difference in causes that matter to them, the public will undoubtedly be watching with interest.
