Princess Charlotte Shows Impatience at Easter Service

Princess Charlotte, the six-year-old daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, was captured in a sweet moment as she appeared to lose interest in the formalities after attending the Royal Family's traditional Easter service for the first time.

The young royal was seen gently tugging on her mother's dress, seemingly eager to leave the service that took place at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Despite her parents lingering to chat with the Dean of Windsor, David Connor, and Catherine shaking hands with him, Princess Charlotte appeared a little impatient at their leisurely departure.

The youngster held on to her mum's stylish dress, appearing to try and nudge her in the right direction before eventually taking a few steps away from her family as the conversation continued.

The Cambridges, the most senior royals to attend, looked coordinated for the Easter Martins service, all wearing shades of blue.

Catherine recycled an old favorite for the traditional trip to church, a pale blue dress coat, while Prince George and Prince William donned sharp suits.

Princess Charlotte opted for a pretty blue floral dress and baby blue tights.

The Cambridges led the senior royals for the Easter service, with other members of the extended Windsor family, including Princess Eugenie and Zara and Mike Tindall, joining them.

However, the Queen was unable to attend because of ongoing mobility issues.

This was the first Easter church outing for George and Charlotte, though four-year-old Prince Louis was not in attendance.

The Cambridges have been bringing George in particular to more official events as he learns his role in the family.

Charlotte's appearance at the Easter service is the young princess's second public appearance in three weeks after winning the hearts of royal fans at a memorial service dedicated to her late great-grandfather, Prince Philip.

The youngster and her eight-year-old brother George joined their parents at the memorial service for the Duke of Edinburgh at Westminster Abbey last month.

Twitter users highly appreciated Princess Charlotte's sweet looks and traditional clothes.

The Queen, who was also present at the memorial service, has been carrying out virtual events and other duties as head of state.

The 95-year-old, who turns 96 on Thursday, reached her platinum jubilee in February and overcame a bout of Covid after testing positive that month.

After spending a night in hospital last October, she spent the following three months under doctors' orders to only conduct light duties and missed a number of prominent events.
