Queen Set to Attend Joint Christening Ceremony for Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall’s Children
The Queen is expected to attend a joint christening ceremony on Saturday, where Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall will christen their children.
Her Majesty was forced to pull out of Remembrance Sunday duty after a back sprain.
However, she has told courtiers that she is determined to be present when the second cousins are baptised today at All Saints Chapel in Great Windsor Park, Berkshire.
She will make an eleventh-hour decision after taking advice from her personal doctor on the day.
Others present will include Beatrice's dad Prince Andrew, Prince William, and wife Kate.
A royal source said, “Her Majesty is very keen to be there as she knows how important this is for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

It's set to be a heart-warming family occasion and a time of real celebration after what has been some challenging times for certain royals of late, including the Queen herself.”
It is the first time members of the royal family will have been baptised together.
Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank's son August was meant to be christened in July before the event was cancelled due to Covid.
He will be baptised alongside Lucas Philip, the son of Mike and Zara Tyndall, born in March.
The ceremony will be led by Canon Martin Pohl, who is chaplain to Great Windsor Park and will take place at the private Grade II listed church, which forms part of the Royal Lodge House.
Fresh holy water from Prince Charles's trip to Jordan will be used during the service.
Charles is said to be bringing back around a dozen bottles from the River Jordan, where Jesus was baptised, to use for future royal baptisms.
Following the news, experts praised the Queen's sense of family and duty.
Commendator Penny Junor said, “I've never heard of two royal babies being christened together like this, but it will be wonderful to have the Queen there.
It would also send a fantastic message to the world that she is not ready to leave us yet.
She's very spiritual, a christening is a very important occasion for the head of the Church of England and being there will be of great importance to her.
She's very fond of Zara and Mike, and Eugenie too.”
Meanwhile, in an explosive interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Meghan spoke about her days arriving on the same set as a struggling actress and gave a rare update on her daughter.
Meghan then asked the chat show host if she knew anything to relieve teething pain while discussing how Lily is now teething.
To which Ellen jokingly replied, “Tequila, anything.”
Whilst it's not yet been confirmed when the first picture of Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor might be released, it's thought it could possibly come at Christmas as part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's annual Christmas card.
Last year's Christmas card snap featured Prince Harry, Meghan, and Archie surrounded by their dogs, just months before the couple announced Meghan's pregnancy with Lilibet.
By the time Christmas comes around, Lilibet will be six months old, meaning Prince Harry and Meghan might feel happy to share their daughter's first picture with fans now that she's slightly older.
And having shared a snap of the entire family for their card last year, it would perhaps be considered surprising were they to leave their daughter out of the next one.
If Lilibet does appear alongside her older brother Archie and parents in their 2021 Christmas card photo, it's likely that the photo will be shared not by the Sussexes directly but through a charity as they did last year.
