Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations to be Held in June 2022

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, marking her 70 years on the throne, will be celebrated with a four-day event in June 2022.

The celebrations will include a live concert at Buckingham Palace and the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in London, featuring 5,000 performers from around the UK and Commonwealth.

Concert parties will also be held across the UK on Sunday, June 5.

However, the news of the celebrations has been overshadowed by reports that wants to attend the event, despite stepping down from his royal duties last year.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous, Royal Insider Phil Dampier criticized the move, calling it “arrogant” of Meghan and Harry to pick and choose which events they want to attend.

Dampier, who is the author of Royally Suited, Harry and Meghan in their own words, argued that if the couple does not support the monarchy, they should not celebrate the Queen's 70-year reign.

He also questioned the couple's motives for attending the event, saying that it “does smack a bit of hypocrisy.”

Despite Dampier's criticism, the Queen is unlikely to block Harry and Meghan's attendance, according to the writer.

He said that the Queen is always consolatory and has made it clear that the couple are still loved members of the family, even though she may be disappointed that they left the royal family.

One royal insider told The Sun that Harry's desire to attend the celebrations is causing a headache, as there are many questions about where the couple will be positioned and what events they can attend.

The insider also expressed concern that their attendance could overshadow the Queen's 70 years of service to the nation.

Harry and Meghan are currently living in a £11.2 million mansion in North Los Angeles with their son .

It remains to be seen whether they will attend the Jubilee celebrations or not.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee is a significant milestone in British history, as she is on track to become the first monarch to reign for 70 years.

The celebrations are set to be a grand affair, with thousands of performers from around the UK and Commonwealth taking part in the event.

The live concert at Buckingham Palace is expected to be a highlight of the celebrations, with many top performers from the music industry set to take part.
