Royal Family Prepares for Easter Celebrations Amidst Sadness
The Royal Family is getting ready for their annual Easter celebrations, however, this year's festivities will be tinged with sadness as it marks the first Easter without the late Queen, who was known for cherishing the holiday.
Despite this, the Royals are still expected to enjoy their favourite traditions, including attending a service at St George's Chapel on Easter Sunday, Easter egg hunts and lots of food.
According to Royal expert Ingrid Stewart, the Royals will be enjoying traditional Easter fare such as roast lamb, venison, pheasant, chicken, spring vegetables, new potatoes, and carrots.
Let's not forget the salmon caught in the River Dee and roast ham, which could also make an appearance on the Royal Table.
But what about the younger members of the family?
In the past, the Queen enforced a strict rule that young children couldn't join the adults at the dinner table until they could properly hold a knife and fork.

However, according to Stewart, King Charles may have relaxed this rule for his young grandchildren including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
While the adults will be enjoying their meal together, the Royal children will be dining in the nursery dining room.
This isn't a new practice as it also happens at Christmas.
It's not clear yet which Royals will be attending the Easter celebrations this year.
However, it's safe to assume that the Queen's absence will be felt deeply by the family as she was known to be particularly fond of Easter.
But even in her absence, the Royal family will continue to honour her memory and carry on her legacy.
In fact, as one fan commented on a recent Instagram post of King Charles and Prince William enjoying a moment of father-son bonding, proud father and son remembering the Queen.
Despite the challenges of the past year, the Royal family has continued to soldier on and adapt to the changing circumstances.
With the arrival of new members like Princess Beatrice's daughter and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's second child, the family continues to grow and evolve.
So whether you're enjoying Easter with your own family or just enjoying the long weekend, take a moment to appreciate the traditions that bring us together and the memories we all share.
In the past, the Royal Family has always celebrated Easter with great enthusiasm, and this year will be no different.
They will continue to honour their traditions and enjoy their favourite foods, even in the absence of the late Queen.
It's important to note that even though the Queen is no longer with us, her legacy lives on through her family.
They will continue to carry on her traditions and celebrate Easter with the same joy and happiness as always.
