Sarah Ferguson Refrains from Commenting on Duke and Duchess of Sussex
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, has recently made comments about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
However, in an interview with People Magazine ahead of the release of her book, A Most Intriguing Lady, she declined to comment on the couple, saying she had no judgment for them.
Ferguson served as a recognized member of the Royal Family between 1990 until 1996.
She stated, “I don't believe that any single person has the right to judge another person.
I'm not in a position to make any judgments, and I have been judged all my life, and I have no judgment on the Sussexes.”
In addition to this, the Duchess of York also spoke about her late friend, Princess Diana, and how proud she would be of her grandchildren.
Trending:
“The late Princess of Wales would be incredibly proud of her five grandchildren,” she said.
Princess Diana would have been the grandmother to Prince Harry's two children and Prince William's three children.
Prince Harry has previously been vocal about the scandal surrounding his uncle, Prince Andrew.
In the couple's Netflix documentary series released last December, Harry referred to the scandal as shameful.
In the same documentary, Harry expressed concern about the family's security, especially after he and Meghan relocated to California.
“Not in the wake of my uncle Andrew,” he said.
Despite being embroiled in a shameful scandal accused of s**ually harassing a young girl, no one had even suggested removing his security.
He added, “People have had plenty of reasons to complain about us.
s** crimes weren't one of them.”
These comments come at a time when Harry and Meghan have reportedly been evicted from their home in Frogmore Cottage.
They reportedly have until early summer to remove their belongings despite the turmoil within the royal family.
Sarah Ferguson has maintained a neutral stance.
Her new book, A Most Intriguing Lady, is a historical fiction novel that explores the life of Lady Margaret Montag Douglas Scott.
It is set to release on March 7th.
With all the buzz surrounding the royal family, it is refreshing to see someone like Sarah Ferguson taking a step back and refraining from passing judgment.
As she stated in her interview with People, “I don't believe that any single person has a right to judge another person.”
Perhaps this is a lesson we can all learn from, especially in today's world where it seems that everyone is quick to judge and condemn others.
Let's take a cue from Sarah Ferguson and strive to be more understanding and compassionate towards one another.
In conclusion, Sarah Ferguson's recent comments about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been neutral, and she has refrained from passing judgment.
Instead, she has focused on her late friend, Princess Diana, and her grandchildren.
With all the turmoil within the royal family, it is refreshing to see someone taking a step back and not adding fuel to the fire.
Maybe we can all learn from this and strive to be more understanding and compassionate towards each other.
