Sarah Ferguson Reveals Insights Into Her Family Life and Mothering Skills
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has opened up about her family life in a recent interview.
The 58-year-old mother of Princess Beatrice, 29, and Princess Eugenie, 27, with Prince Andrew, a son of the Queen, has shared further insight into the close-knit ties within her family.
Ferguson married Prince Andrew in 1986, but they divorced in 1996 after officially separating in 1992.
Despite their separation, the couple famously still share a close relationship.
In reference to Andrew, Sarah told The Telegraph in August 2013, ”He's still my handsome prince, he'll always be my handsome prince.”
The former royal has now revealed that her family is a tight-knit unit.

She said, ”A table can't stand on three legs, really, so you have the Duke and I, and the two girls, we're a family unit and we lead by example, we support each other emotionally, and we support each other health-wise.
At least every two weeks we sit down together and communicate, the four of us.”
Ferguson, who has published various books with Weight Watchers such as Dieting with the Duchess, revealed that she is most proud of her mothering skills.
”I think the one thing I've done incredibly well, although I say it myself, is that I'm a really good mum, and I think that my girls show that,” she said.
The Duchess was not invited to Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding, a fact she revealed on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
However, it is not yet clear exactly who has made the invite list for the upcoming royal wedding of Prince Charles' youngest son, Prince Harry, and his fiancée Meghan Markle.
In an interview with Hello, Ferguson was asked if she will be attending the wedding.
While it remains uncertain whether she will be on the guest list, the Duchess expressed her excitement for the couple, saying, ”I'm just happy and excited to see the wedding because I never saw William and Catherine's wedding either.
I went to Thailand to get away from it all.”
