Spotify Regrets Multi-Billion Dollar Deal with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Spotify's multi-billion dollar deal with and has turned out to be a regret for the music streaming platform.

The company is reportedly upset with the couple for their failure to deliver on the contract, and they are unable to get in touch with the former working royals to discuss the matter.

There is little information as to why the couple and their foundation have yet to produce any significant audio series for Spotify.

However, reports suggest that the podcast arm of the pair's production company, Utsul Audio, is experiencing growing pains.

Spotify paid and about $25 million for the deal, and the company reportedly had to hire producers to try and produce content under the said deal.

They are struggling to make it work, causing the regret to arise.

As of now, Spotify will consider taking legal action against the Harkle.

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly gone for the money over principles by sticking to their multi-million dollar podcast deal with Spotify.

Royal expert Richard Eden says they have been stuck between principles or money.

He said that the situation was a nightmare for the Sussexes, pointing out that while they campaigned against misinformation, their decision on Spotify showed that money came first for them.

The Royal commentator said, “For years they've gone on about the dangers of misinformation, it's become a real pet cause of theirs.

And then here they are with Spotify, accused of spreading misinformation through Joe Rogan's very popular podcast.

But Harry and Meghan have signed a very lucrative deal with Spotify that's meant to be worth 18 million pounds.

So between the principles and money, it's always a question of which will they go for, and it seems they've gone for the money.”

Additionally, Royal expert Neil Sean claimed the Sussexes may have to continue working for Spotify or be ordered to return their $25 million fee.

Mr Sean claimed, legendary singer-songwriters Joni Mitchell and Neil Young have decided to pull their product from the platform simply because they said they don't agree with a certain element of it.

The deal with Spotify first emerged when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released an official announcement in December 2020.

They said that they love podcasting because it serves as a reminder for everyone to take a moment, as well as listen and connect to one another without distraction.

The former working Royals did not, however, dive into the details of the podcast partnership.

The same also applies to the contract amount, although reports at the time believed that they received tens of millions from the company.

More than a year after, though, the Harkle have yet to release any content on the platform.

Sources revealed that Spotify has finally taken matters into their hands because it had been taking too long.

Spotify's stepping in to help Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made headlines in January.

Reports learned that the company was recruiting new staff members to work with Artewel, alongside the Hark.

Royal expert Richard Eden pointed out that Joe Rogan was a hard worker and created hundreds of podcasts every year, whereas the Sussexes had only produced one.

He added, “My goodness, we've only had one from Harry and Meghan for 18 million pounds so they're hardly providing value for money.”

In conclusion, Spotify's multi-billion dollar deal with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has turned out to be a regret for the music streaming platform.

The couple's failure to launch has caused the company to regret making and terminating the contract.
