Trevor Engelson’s Experiences with Meghan Markle: A Look Back

Before became the Duchess of Sussex, she was a struggling actress in Hollywood.

Her ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, on the other hand, was a successful talent agent.

According to royal author Andrew Morton's book, Megan, a Hollywood Princesses, there were times when Meghan was frustrated that Trevor did not help her acting career.

Morton revealed that during Meghan's time on Deal or No Deal, Trevor was producing the film License to Wed, which starred Robin Williams.

Despite Meghan's hopes of landing a role, the parts that would have suited her went to more experienced actresses who had worked with the director Ken Kwapis on the TV series The Office.

This became a source of conflict between the couple, with Meghan becoming disappointed that Trevor didn't try harder to include her in some of his productions.

While many saw Meghan's role on Deal or No Deal as a fantastic opportunity, she viewed it more as a stepping stone to a more serious job, constantly attending auditions.

As time went on, Meghan reportedly nagged Trevor to get her cast in something he was producing, and as he became more successful, he was able to throw her a few crumbs.

He first cast her as a secretary in the short film, The Candidate, later offering her a bit part role in Remember Me, starring Robert Pattinson, which ended up being his biggest hit to date.

Morton wrote, “Megan did her best to shine as the beautiful, talented, as well as supportive girlfriend of a bona fide mover and shaker, who could now afford to give Megan a few crumbs from his groaning pile of scripts.

At least it would stop her continuously nagging him to give her a part in one of his productions.”

Eventually, Meghan landed the spot on Suits, after which her and Trevor's marriage slowly broke down.

Meghan's relationship with her ex could come back to the fore, with reports that investigative journalist Tom Bauer is going to release an upcoming book.

And as part of that process, there is a possibility that Trevor could be included.

The pair's split hardly ended well.

It is claimed that Meghan had simply posted her ring in the post back to Trevor, which is hardly the way to end things cordially.

After all, they were together from 2004 until 2013.

With that being said, Tom may have a lot to say.

Neil Sean, who happens to be a royal expert, had this to say, “Trevor's story itself is remarkable because he's never spoken on the record about his time with .”

It is true to say that not much is known about Tom.

He is best known for being the owner of a production company, which is something that Meghan had allegedly sought to benefit from.

It is claimed that Meghan struggled to get into big roles before she had a breakthrough in Suits.

And yet, it appears that her time on the show contributed to their relationship becoming strained.

The fans on social media were not surprised by Andrew's claims.

A certain subset felt it reflected Meghan's desire to be in the limelight.

Thus, they were looking forward to what Trevor could say.

One person wrote, “Good she deserves everything coming her way.”

In conclusion, Trevor Engelson's experiences with Meghan Markle provide an interesting insight into their relationship and the struggles of being an actress in Hollywood.

While Meghan's career has since taken off, it is clear that her past with Trevor still holds a lot of interest for many people.

With Tom Bauer's upcoming book, we may finally get a glimpse into what really happened between the two.
