Victoria Beckham Accused of Ruining Meghan Markle’s Career

A new book by royal biographer Tom Bower titled Revenge, Megan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors has made some bombshell claims about the relationship between Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham.

According to the book, the Sussexes were concerned that their friends were leaking stories about them to the press, including the Beckhams.

This led to a falling out between the two couples, with Meghan allegedly suspecting Victoria of indiscretion.

Bower claims that the Sussexes became addicted to reading about themselves in the media and worried that their secrets were getting out to the British press through their famous friends.

They obsessively tried to figure out who the mole might be amongst their inner circle.

Harry and Meghan were shackled, Bower writes.

Every night they scoured the internet to read the newspaper reports and the trolls postings on social media.

Irrationally they grouped the two together and fed each other's frenzy about the media.

Convinced that as champions of goodness they were being persecuted by mendacity and racism, they felt victimized by the mildest criticism.

Meghan's reported accusations of Victoria led to a tense phone call between Harry and David, the book claims.

Harry called David Beckham to repeat the accusation, Bower writes.

Outraged, Beckham's truthful denials damaged their relationship.

While it's unclear exactly when this tense phone call took place or even if it ever took place, a paper reported in 2020 that David quickly put Harry right and the two men agreed to move on.

But it certainly made things awkward for a while.

Awkwardness that apparently continues to the present day.

The paper reports that the two men had an awkward encounter during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Earlier this year fans thought it was shady that the Beckhams didn't invite Meghan and Harry to their son Brooklyn's wedding to actress Nicola Peltz.

However, an insider revealed in April 2022 that the pair was agonized over which royal couple to invite to the ceremony.

David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate inviting them and the family to their son's wedding and William replied wishing them a great deal of joy but they are unable to attend the source said.

Their friendship was made official when the Beckhams attended Harry and Meghan's star-studded wedding in April 2018.

In September 2019, Victoria expressed her support for Meghan's empowering speech at the Fashion Awards in December 2018.

“I like what Meghan Markle said at the Fashion Awards,” said the former Spice Girl, “that it used to be called to be cruel and now it's called to be kind.

Kindness has always been at the core of girl power.”

Despite their past friendship, it seems that the relationship between the Sussexes and the Beckhams has been strained for some time.

Bower alleges that Victoria Beckham ruined Meghan's career and that the Sussexes were concerned about their friends leaking stories to the press.

While the exact details of their falling out may never be known, it's clear that there is still some tension between the two couples.
