Earl Spencer Bars Meghan from All Thorpe House Estate Amid Ownership Dispute
Earl Spencer, the brother of Princess Diana, has reportedly banned Meghan Markle from All Thorpe House estate due to her alleged outrageous demands and a dispute over ownership.
This news comes shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan were asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage.
All Thorpe House, which is the family home of Lady Diana Spencer, is set to open to the public for the summer season, showcasing its exquisite interiors and remarkable collection of furniture, paintings, and ceramics.
According to reports, Meghan Markle expressed interest in having a private meeting with Earl Spencer to discuss the possibility of gifting the Sussexes the property.
However, her request was denied by Charles, leaving Meghan feeling disappointed.
The estate is set to be inherited by Louis Frederick John Spencer, Viscount All Thorpe, who was born on March 14th, 1994, to Charles Spencer and Victoria Lockwood.
Trending:
Louis is Diana's nephew and bears a striking resemblance to his cousin, Prince Harry.
He spent his early years in Cape Town before moving to the UK and studying at the University of Edinburgh.
Louis' birth brought attention to the historic rule of Primogeniture, which prioritizes male heirs over female ones.
Although the rule was modified in the Succession to the Crown Act 2013, allowing older sisters to inherit before younger brothers, it still applies to the Spencer family.
Lady Kitty Spencer, the oldest daughter, expressed her thoughts on the matter, acknowledging the changing attitudes towards Primogeniture.
She stated that while it can be a sensitive topic, she believes Louis will excel in his future role as the 10th Earl.
All Thorpe House, a magnificent stately home dating back to 1508, spans an impressive 100,000 square feet, featuring 90 rooms, stunning grounds, and a portrait gallery.
In addition to this estate, the Spencer family also owns properties in London, Norfolk, Warwickshire, and South Africa.
There were speculations that Prince Harry and Meghan might adopt the Spencer name to honor Princess Diana's legacy.
However, it has been revealed that Meghan had expressed a desire to be officially adopted into the Spencer family, which was rejected by Charles Spencer due to concerns of potential exploitation for financial gain.
Furthermore, Meghan Markle has faced allegations of stealing jewelry from the royal family, further straining relations within the Spencer family and the royal circle.
These recent revelations have raised questions about Meghan's intentions and actions, with some suggesting that she may be leveraging her association with the Spencer name for financial opportunities.
The ongoing dispute over ownership of All Thorpe House and the clash between Meghan Markle and Earl Spencer highlight the complexities surrounding inheritance and tradition within the aristocracy.
As the saga continues, the public eagerly awaits any further developments and the eventual fate of this historic estate.
