Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie Comfort Each Other at Balmoral Castle

The Queen died at Balmoral on Thursday at the age of 96, and reports say that King Charles III and Princess Anne were by the side of their mother as she passed.

A short time after the palace released a statement announcing her death, Charles released the statement, “We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother.

I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.

During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which the Queen was so widely held.”

In other news, and his wife have reportedly not been invited to a special state event in honor of the late being hosted by King Charles III, as per Hello!

An official state event hosted by King Charles is scheduled for Sunday, September 18, 2022, with heads of states, and official foreign guests on the invite list alongside working royals, which means , Meghan, and Prince Andrew have been excluded from the list.

A spokesperson from Buckingham Palace confirmed the same saying that only working royals will take part.

The palace statement also said, “The King and the Queen consort will host heads of state and official overseas guests at Buckingham Palace ahead of the state funeral of Her Majesty the Queen.

This will be an official state event.”

This comes as Prince Harry, Meghan, and Andrew joined senior royal family members in a procession behind the Queen's coffin as it was transported to Westminster Hall where it now lays in state.
