Zara Tindall Expecting Third Child with Husband Mike

Zara Tindall, the accomplished equestrian and granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, is expecting her third child with her husband, rugby player Mike Tindall.

The news was broken by Mike on the podcast he co-hosts, The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.

The couple welcomed their second child, Lena Elizabeth, in 2018, and their first child, Mia Tindall, is six years old.

Mike expressed his desire to have a boy this time around, as he already has two daughters with Zara.

He joked about naming the baby after the virus, saying, “We're not sure what to do, Covi or Covina, I don't know where to go with names.”

When asked about Zara's well-being, Mike assured that she is doing well and is looking forward to the new addition.

The due date of the baby has not been revealed, but it is speculated that Zara is around 12 weeks pregnant, which means she is likely due in the summer, around June.

Mike also revealed that they have not yet told their eldest daughter Mia about the good news, as they want to keep it under wraps until they are ready to share it with everyone.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman confirmed that the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are delighted by the news of their eldest granddaughter's pregnancy.

The couple currently have eight great-grandchildren, and Zara's cousin, Princess Eugenie, is also expecting her first child next year.

Zara has spoken about the two miscarriages she had experienced in the past, which made her more careful during her current pregnancy.

She said that the loss was difficult for both her and Mike, but it made them a stronger family in the end.

Zara and Mike tied the knot in July 2011 at the Cannon Gate Kirk in Edinburgh, after meeting at the Manly Wharf Bar in Sydney during the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

The couple are very happy with the news of their third child, and a spokeswoman for Zara confirmed this.

The Tindalls are a well-known sporting family, with Zara winning a silver medal in the London 2012 Olympics in equestrianism.

Mike is a former England rugby player and has been playing professionally since 1997.

As the news of Zara's pregnancy spreads, fans and well-wishers alike are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the newest addition to the royal family.
