Meghan Markle’s Unusual Request Raises Eyebrows from Prince Charles and Camilla

The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was a highly anticipated event that captured the world's attention.

However, not everything went according to plan.

Two days prior to the wedding, Kensington Palace announced that Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, wouldn't be attending the big day due to ill health.

This left a void in the ceremony, and it was up to Prince Charles to fill it.

According to a royal expert, Prince Charles had been asked to do the honours of walking Meghan down the aisle.

She wanted Charles to meet her halfway down the aisle.

Royal expert Neil Sean revealed in a recent video on his YouTube channel that Meghan's request had caused quite a stir.

He said, “People were saying this is because she wanted the focus to be on her and for the world's cameras to let us see that she was a strong independent woman and of course, doing things her own way.”

Prince Charles, however, was delighted to escort Meghan down the aisle.

He couldn't believe his luck and was absolutely honoured and thrilled.

When he met with Meghan, she requested that he meet her halfway down the aisle.

Mr Sean added, “According to a good source, and as ever allegedly, it appears that when Prince Charles brought this up with his youngest son, he, Harry, said oh well, that Meghan.”

Looking back, it seems that Prince Charles should have known what was around the corner.

In January 2020, less than two years after their wedding day, Meghan and Prince Harry announced they were stepping back as senior royals.

The couple carried out their final royal engagement in March 2020.

Now residing in the US with their two children, three-year-old son Archie and one-year-old daughter Lilibet, the couple visited the UK last month to join in celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

During this visit, Prince Charles met his granddaughter Lilibet for the first time, which was described as a very emotional meeting.

Bauer claimed that not only did the royals start meddling in the show's scripts due to Meghan, but her own mannerisms also changed.

Bauer wrote, “Some actors and staff discovered that Meghan's attitude occasionally stiffened.

Sometimes she arrived late and her empathy occasionally morphed into near arrogance.”

Meghan had markedly shifted from the early days when she held a prayer meeting with the Suits cast before filming started.

He also claimed in the book that both Meghan and Harry had been warned against marrying each other ahead of their 2018 nuptials that were watched by millions around the world.
