Meghan Markle Spotted With Takeout Bag After Public Debut With Prince Harry

Meghan Markle, the 36-year-old actress and rumoured fiancé of Prince Harry, was recently spotted carrying a plastic bag of food in Toronto.

The pictures were taken on September 24, the day after her official public debut with Harry at the opening ceremonies for the Invictus Games.

Despite the possibility of future dining habits changing should she wed the prince, Meghan is still content to take some food home in a doggy bag.

She was seen disembarking a chauffeur-driven luxury SUV dressed in a red floral frock, $495 Sarah Flynn brown flats, and sunglasses, carrying a wild plastic bag filled with leftovers or takeout.

While Meghan and Harry keep mostly mum about their relationship, they were seen enjoying several events together during the Invictus Games.

At the opening ceremony, Meghan sat 18 seats and four rows from Harry, hanging out with her close friend, Marcus Anderson.

However, Harry seemed unable to keep his eyes off his girlfriend and was spotted glancing down towards her seat on a number of occasions.

A couple of days later, they were able to sit next to one another at a different Invictus event, smiling unselfconsciously as they enjoyed a tennis match.

In a third outing, Harry spent time with both Meghan and her mother during the Games, hanging back in a private VIP box.

They closed out the Games in a VIP box too, where Harry and Meghan could be spotted celebrating with a kiss.

Meghan reportedly stayed with Harry at the Fairmont Royal York during the week he was in town, when he visits his girlfriend in the city.

Harry, who normally stays at a rented house in a quiet, upmarket suburb, seems smitten with Meghan.

Even President Obama was interested in their love lives, asking Harry about Meghan at a wheelchair basketball match during the Games.

Student Hayley Stover, who found herself sitting on the other side of the Prince, told the Sunday Mirror that Obama asked about Meghan and Harry let him know she had been to watch the tennis with him.

He asked if she was enjoying the Games and Harry was really smiling as he said yes, he looked so happy, it was cute.

The 18-year-old also revealed that Harry asked after Obama's wife Michelle.

Despite the media attention, Meghan seems to be taking everything in stride.

She was dressed in a $690 Maccage burgundy leather jacket and matching dress for her first royal engagement with Prince Harry at the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games.

Although she sat several seats and rows away from him, she attended the event with the royal.

Meghan's takeout bag is a reminder that she is still just a regular person, despite her association with the British royal family.

Should she and Harry marry, her life will undoubtedly change, but for now, she seems content to enjoy her relationship with the prince and indulge in some takeout every once in a while.
