Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Visit Princess Diana’s Grave

and visited the final resting place of Harry's mother, , shortly before their engagement.

The couple took the trip together in November and are expected to visit again before their wedding in Windsor.

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Star Online, Harry had already taken Meghan to Althorp to see his mother, but he wanted to take her back again before the big day.

The source also suggested that Harry may have asked his mother for her approval to marry Meghan during their visit.

They said, “I think he quietly asked his mum for her blessing to marry Meghan, too.

It was very personal for Harry.”

Following the announcement of their engagement, spoke about how much his mother would have loved Meghan.

He said, “They'd be thick as thieves, without question.

I think she would be over the moon, jumping up and down, you know so excited for me.

You know it is days like today when I really miss having her around and miss being able to share the happy news.”

During the conversation, Meghan interjected and said, “She's with us.”

Harry agreed, saying, “I'm sure she's with us yeah, you know, jumping up and down somewhere else.”

Meghan also added that it was perfect having be a part of their engagement.

Last week, shared a heartwarming photo of him and a young Prince Harry with their late mother Princess Diana.

The photo was shared as William gave a speech at the Charity Commission, where he spoke about his parents' influence on his approach to charitable work.

William talked about how his mother would take him to homeless shelters as a child and explained to him why the people he met there mattered.

He said, “Charity is not an optional extra in society.

We believe that, above anything else, charities nurture, repair, build and sustain our society.

Without the work that charities do, society would be an empty shell.”

The photo shared on Kensington Palace's official Twitter account showed at the age of 12, with Princess Diana and Prince Harry, during a visit to the Passage Homeless Centre.

William's speech highlighted the importance of charity work and how it has been a part of his family's dedication to helping others.

In visiting Princess Diana's grave, Prince Harry and paid tribute to a woman who continues to inspire them both.

It is clear that Diana's legacy lives on through her sons and their families, and that she will always be remembered as a beloved member of the royal family.
