Harry Sparks Fury Among Royal Fans Ahead of Late Show Appearance

Fans of the CBS talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert were left disappointed when they were told that would not be appearing in front of them.

The Duke of Sussex was scheduled to appear on the show, but the live audience was cut short due to security reasons.

Many of the audience members had travelled from all over the state to see the royal, and one woman even said that it wasn't worth waiting out in the cold.

One irate audience member questioned the decision, saying, “Security issues really.

It's not like he's .

He's not properly in the line of succession.

Trending:

Who's trying to kill Harry?

I've been to a lot of these and this has never happened before.

I'm really surprised.”

Another person was heard loudly saying, “Fuck ,” as they left the show.

Despite the backlash from some fans, Harry did appear on the show via a pre-taped segment that aired on Tuesday, January 10th.

During his appearance, the prince shared more jaw-dropping claims about his royal life and appeared to make a mockery of the monarchy.

The episode began with Harry being greeted at the New York City studio by two trumpet heralds wearing regal uniforms.

The red-headed royal is seen walking along a red carpet while the trumpeters begin their fanfare.

However, Harry stopped them and told the host, “Not needed, but thank you.

I appreciate it.”

Tom Hanks then appeared, jokingly asking, “Where's my fanfare?”

This skit did not sit well with royal fans, who took to social media to express their upset with the Duke for his role in it.

One online user bashed King Charles III's youngest son for mocking the monarchy, while another doubled down, calling it “ridiculous, embarrassing, unnecessary, unpleasant, and wrong.”

During the interview, Harry also slammed accusations that he boasted about killing 25 Taliban fighters in his memoir.

He accused his critics of spinning his words and spouting lies, which he says have put his family in danger.

“I think one of the most dangerous lies that they've told is that I somehow boasted about the number of people I've killed in Afghanistan,” he told Colbert.

“My words aren't dangerous, but the spin of my words, it's very dangerous to my family.”

Colbert seemed timid during the interview, almost like he was speaking with a 7-year-old girl, according to some viewers.

However, the biggest shock was Harry claiming to write about reducing veteran suicide in his book.

He claimed that was the reason for discussing his kills in the war.

The controversy surrounding Prince Harry's appearance on The Late Show has left many fans questioning his motives.

One woman asked, “Who needs Prince Harry anyway?

They're just creating their own drama now for the sake of it.

If it's about your family and your safety, why are you doing the interview in the first place?”

Despite the backlash, Prince Harry continues to make headlines with his candid interviews and public appearances.
