In the book, Lowe makes several claims about what went on behind the scenes of the Royal tour in 2018, including Meghan's alleged failure to understand the point of walkabouts and shaking hands with countless strangers.

The book also alleges that during their relocation from Kensington Palace, the couple hoped for a suite of apartments at the Royal residence, but were given Frogmore Cottage instead.

Lady Elizabeth Anson, a close friend of the Queen who passed away in 2020, reportedly described the home in Windsor as a big deal to the monarch, who made the generous gesture of giving them the cottage.

She was quoted as saying, “The Queen's entrance into the gardens is right next to their cottage.

It is essentially her backyard, her solitude, and her privacy.

She was giving that up in gifting Harry and Meghan Frogmore Cottage.

We all thought it was very big of her.

She said, ‘I hope they'll respect it.'”
