Harry and Meghan’s Plan for Reconciliation with the Royal Family Comes Undone

The Sussexes have been making headlines again, this time for their apparent plan to reconcile with the royal family.

The report also suggests that Meghan and Harry saw the release of Harry's memoir and their Netflix documentary series as a way to attack the Royals one final time before attempting to build bridges.

This convoluted logic has left many confused about their true intentions.

It's easy to see why some might question the couple's motives.

After all, they have been estranged from the royal family for some time now, with tensions reaching boiling point after their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.

The interview revealed a number of shocking allegations, including claims of racism within the royal family and accusations of neglect towards Meghan's mental health.

Despite all of this, Meghan and Harry reportedly still believe that they are able to call the shots when it comes to repairing the relationship with the Royal family.

If we take The Sun's story at face value, the idea that Meghan and Harry would seem to believe that they're the ones in the position to dispense forgiveness Oprah style and that the Royal family is going to be open to their outreach is just absurd and delusional.

Even after the Queen's passing and Charles' accession to the throne, it's unlikely that the Royal family will be receptive to Meghan and Harry's attempts at reconciliation.

Royal biographer Katie Nicholl told The Daily Beast that William is still unable to forgive Harry for turning his back on his duty and the way he did it.

William feels that a lot of what Harry has done has been very disrespectful.

It's important to remember that if Meghan and Harry want to make peace, it requires cooperation from the royal family.

So far, with that book and that documentary still hanging in the air, the olive branch is just not long enough to reach yet.
