Meghan Markle’s Korean spa story has been accused of being a lie by her own mother, Doria Ragland.

In a recent episode of her podcast series, Archetypes, Meghan spoke with comedian Margaret Cho and journalist Lisa Ling about the trope known as Dragon Lady.

The Duchess of Sussex opened the conversation with an anecdote about going to a Korean spa with her mother when she was a child.

However, Doria has accused her daughter of telling “bold-faced lies” in public.

released her first ever podcast series, Archetypes, in late August.

Following a three-week break prompted by the death of II, she released a new episode on September 8.

The podcast aims to explore and subvert the labels that try to hold women back, according to its official description.

In the October 4 episode, Meghan hosted Asian stars Margaret Cho and Lisa Ling, in which they discussed specific stereotypes of Asian women.

During the conversation, Meghan recounted her experience at a Korean spa with her mother.

She described it as a humbling experience for a girl going through puberty because you enter a room with women from ages 9 to maybe 90 all walking around n^ked and waiting to get a body scrub on one of these tables that are all lined up in a row.

The author recalled that all she wanted was a bathing suit, which is not allowed, but nobody can force you to undress if you don't want to.

While Meghan revealed that it was a tough situation for her to handle as a kid, she also shared that she and her mother created lasting memories together.

However, Doria has since accused her daughter of lying and spreading false information.

In the podcast, Meghan also revealed that a fire broke out in the nursery where her son was supposed to be sleeping on the first day of the Sussexes tour to South Africa in 2019.

She also seemingly criticized Buckingham Palace aides for telling her and Harry to carry on with their day of engagement.

Despite the upsetting event, nobody was hurt.

In a new interview, Meghan discussed her mourning period following the death of , saying she's grateful for the love and support and that she was able to be with her husband at the time.

“What's so beautiful is to look at the legacy that his grandmother was able to leave on so many fronts,” the Duchess said.

“Certainly in terms of female leadership, she is the most shining example of what that looks like.”

Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, defied convention and married Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, after a whirlwind romance lasting just a few short months together.

The first any relatives heard of the wedding was when the invitations arrived, according to Joseph Johnson in an interview with a paper.

None of the family knew anything about Tom until they received the wedding invitations.

The accusations made by Doria have caused controversy and raised questions about the credibility of Meghan's podcast series.

It remains to be seen how Meghan will respond to these allegations and whether they will affect the future of her podcast.
