Lilibet’s First Birthday: A Private Affair

The Harkles' youngest child, , takes centre stage in episode 6 of their Netflix docuseries.

The episode features tender footage showing the daughter apparently just after her birth and celebrating her first birthday earlier this year with a garden picnic in Windsor.

The family is seen with their two children helping one-year-old blow out the candles on her first birthday cake.

In the footage, casual in a polo shirt and navy chinos shelters the flame from the breeze as he lights the candles.

Meanwhile, Meghan holds her daughter at a safe distance.

Barefooted wearing jeans and a white shirt watches from garden furniture before he climbs onto the table to help his little sister blow out her birthday candles.

These photos prove there was no guest at the party, and they insisted on candle blowing when their daughter is crying.

Some royal fans speculated that these pics weren't taken at Frogmore Cottage but took place in California.

Meghan and Harry are wearing different clothing than the supposed Frogmore photos, where looks like he cannot walk.

And Harry lost his head.

Frogmore Cottage has a higher roof than the place in the photos background.

It's said that the kids weren't present in the UK as no kids were seen leaving on the plane to the US.

Though we did see a swing and an expensive-looking highchair being loaded onto the aircraft.

One person commented, “They flew in on Wednesday night, Thursday at events with the kids at the windows, Friday the service and left Saturday.

Faked photos.

I knew it as soon as I saw the photo of Lily sitting on the grass.

It was 60 degrees in London on the day that the photo supposedly took place.

They went to the trouble to order a cake for the grift.”

The second added, “Why is it so blurry and out of focus?

And is the background photoshopped?

I bet the cake, table and parents were photographed at Monta Schitzo and the background and Lily dubbed in.

Again, a child just hanging in her arms.

My kids never just hung there.

They held on, interacted with my body.

Only time they were dead weight was if they were asleep.”

The third wrote, “I find it so incredibly sad for this little girl and her brother Archie.

There they are, surrounded by a huge extended family of cousins, uncles, aunts and no one felt comfortable enough to attend.

I know Lily isn't old enough to know how sad this was, but she'll be old enough soon to realise that they're isolated and what they've missed out on.”

Back in June, Royal expert Tominey claimed members of the Royal family were not keen to admit being involved in the birthday do.

She said, “According to one source, there was a bit of reluctance among the royals to admit to having any involvement in Lilibet's birthday party.”

It's unclear why other members of the family were not present, but some royal fans speculate that it may be due to the ongoing tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal family.

Despite the speculations and criticisms, the Sussexes have made it clear that they value their privacy and want to raise their children away from the public eye.
