Meghan Markle Pregnancy Rumors Swirl as Prince Harry Mourns Queen Elizabeth’s Passing

On Monday, the world said goodbye to Queen Elizabeth, the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

As the royal family mourned her loss, some critics couldn't help but focus on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Rumors swirled that the Duchess of Sussex might be pregnant after some eagle-eyed observers noticed a wireless transmitter waist strap on her.

Prince Harry was not present for the initial announcement of the Queen's passing because he had to fly alone to Balmoral.

King Charles III insisted that no official announcement should be made until his son had learned what had become of his grandmother.

According to reports, Prince Harry had to book his own flight to Balmoral after learning of the Queen's poor health.

The rest of the royal family traveled to Balmoral on a Dassault Falcon 900LX plane, but Prince Harry had difficulty finding an appropriate aircraft.

He eventually chartered a Cessna that took off at 5:35 pm.

The public announcement of the Queen's passing was postponed until King Charles could call his son and give him the bad news just before he landed in Scotland.

Despite rumors of tension between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family, King Charles III expressed his love for Harry and Meghan in his first speech to the nation as Sovereign.

The next day, the Sussexes and the Prince and Princess of Wales were seen taking a shared stroll to visit tributes to the Queen at Windsor, which was perceived as an olive gesture.

However, Prince Harry reportedly felt shocked when he was told he couldn't visit Her Majesty lying in state while wearing his grandmother's initials, Er, on the shoulder of his military uniform.

Although King Charles granted him a special exemption to wear the Blues and Royals' number one dress uniform, only the Sovereign's aide-de-camp may wear the Er, together with the aiglettes.

Prince Harry was relieved of this duty in 2021 and reportedly considered donning a mourning suit to avoid embarrassment.

Prince William may have removed the aiglettes from the Er to deflect attention away from Prince Harry's missing cipher.

Throughout the official rituals, Prince Harry and other members of the royal family interacted very little, if at all.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to leave the kingdom on Tuesday, having been separated from their children for more than two weeks.

As the world continues to mourn the loss of Queen Elizabeth, speculation about Meghan Markle's possible pregnancy continues to swirl.
