Harry and Meghan Frozen Out of Hollywood: Excluded from High-Profile Events

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, have reportedly been excluded from high-profile events in Hollywood.

From the Queen's pre-funeral event to the Oscars, it seems that the couple is persona non grata.

Kara Kennedy, writing for The Spectator, revealed that an LA source told her that the main reason for their exclusion is that they would attract all media attention, taking away from the event or people there to celebrate.

According to Ms. Kennedy, another reason the couple has been sidelined is that they lack the charisma and dedication needed to be A-list celebrities.

While they may have bought a mansion in the right zip code, hung out with the right people, and said the right things at charity events, modern-day stardom requires more than name recognition.

It takes charisma, dedication, and charm, and unfortunately, and just don't have it.

Trending:

The couple was even uninvited from the Ralph Lauren fashion show, the first on the West Coast at the Huntington Museum in San Marino.

Although a sprinkling of stars were present, including Jennifer Lopez, Mindy Karling, and Diane Keaton, no Sussexes were in attendance.

Tina Brown even goes as far as calling Harry and Meghan D-listers and poor for Hollywood standards.

The couple's estimated net worth is about $22 million, compared to big names like Jay-Z and Beyonce whose net worth is above $1.4 billion.

Tyler Perry, who hosted the royal couple while they were moving to the United States, has an approximated net worth of $880 million, and Ellen DeGeneres, who's been estimated at almost $500 million.

In comparison, the royal couple is considered Hollywood poor.

Neil Sean, a royal commentator, thinks that Meghan and Harry may begin doing infomercials to complement their earnings.

He says that their income potential will rely on their ability to promote products.

When they first stopped the British monarchy, they were media darlings, and it was easy for them to strike profitable deals.

However, Sean says that this business can be fickle, and if an organization decides to renege on a proposal, money can disappear in a moment's notice.

According to Sean, the Sussexes allegedly say they're open to receiving different offers.

He believes their openness may lead them to the infomercial space.

Although other non-working royals have appeared in an infomercial, Sean says that doing so could prove quite embarrassing in the coming years.

Nonetheless, he says, doing an infomercial will ultimately depend on how important it is to get paid.

In conclusion, Harry and Meghan seem to be excluded from high-profile events in Hollywood.

Although they may have bought a mansion in the right zip code and hung out with the right people, modern-day stardom requires more than name recognition.

They lack the charisma and dedication needed to be A-list celebrities.

Furthermore, their estimated net worth is considered poor for Hollywood standards.

In light of this, they may have to resort to doing infomercials to complement their earnings.
