Meghan Markle’s Half-Sister Claims to Have Proof of Lies in Oprah Interview
Samantha Markle, the estranged half-sister of Meghan Markle, has claimed that she has actual proof of lies told by the wife of Prince Harry during her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
Samantha's attorney, Jamie Sasson of the Tickton Law Group, who is representing her in her defamation suit against Meghan, told Newsweek that she has evidence of the falsity of Meghan's statements.
Last week, Meghan's lawyers filed a motion to dismiss Samantha's defamation lawsuit, claiming that when Meghan told Oprah that she grew up as an only child, it was subjective and not meant as a statement of objective fact.
They also claimed that Meghan couldn't be sued for statements made in Finding Freedom because she did not write the book.
However, Sasson disagreed with this.
“Our position on this is that we still feel confident this is a viable defamation claim and Mrs. Markle, Meghan, is attempting to spin this around regarding the Oprah show stating that this is subjective thinking that she was an only child but that is not subjective,” Sasson argued.

“Either you're an only child or you're not.
When she went on Oprah and said I grew up as an only child there's only one way to look at that, that she was an only child,” he continued.
Sasson also alleged that Meghan lied when she told Oprah that Samantha only changed her name back to Markle after Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry became public.
However, Meghan's legal team disagreed with this as well.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry is allegedly not impressed with Meghan Markle not stepping away from the limelight.
Spilling the beans to US Weekly, an insider claimed that the Duke of Sussex feels homesick amidst the suit's alum craving for media attention.
He wanted to start over and live a quieter life in Montecito away from the cameras, but Meghan is all about fame and money.
In other news, Harry is being slammed for his recent speech at the United Nations on Nelson Mandela Day.
Meghan's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. also took a jibe at the prince's interest in politics.
During his appearance on GB News on Monday, Thomas said, the Sussexes need to stick to rescue chickens in Mocito and stay out of politics.
It remains to be seen how this lawsuit will play out, but it is clear that tensions between Meghan and her estranged family continue to simmer.
