Oprah Winfrey Ends Friendship with Meghan Markle After Allegedly Being Misled

In a shocking revelation, it has been reported that and have ended their friendship.

According to Woman's Day, Winfrey realized soon after she interviewed and Markle that the couple wasn't being entirely honest about their accounts.

Earlier this year, Markle claimed that made her cry.

She and also accused the royal family of not listening to their complaints and mental health struggles.

And the longtime host is even more upset with the couple because they tarnished her reputation.

“As soon as those headlines started coming out, and Oprah learned that they'd either exaggerate or downright lied to her, she was furious.

This put a severe dent on Oprah's reputation as one of America's most skilled interviewers and even now, eight months later, it hasn't quite recovered,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Prince Harry and Markle's former supporters have started to realize that the couple doesn't practice what they are preaching.

As such, they have started to turn on the Sussexes.

Winfrey finally realized that Prince Harry and Markle shouldn't be her friends.

And she has started to distance herself from the couple.

According to the source, Winfrey's revelation during a recent interview that she only has a handful of friends was a telling sign that she didn't consider the Sussexes as her pals.

“That was a rather pointed comment to make because, until that point, everyone in Oprah's circle assumed she was extremely close with Meghan.

But it seems that's changed,” the source said.

In other news, the Markles used their Netflix money to pay off their Frogmore debt.

New Californians and Prince Harry have officially repaid British taxpayers the cost of renovating their Windsor residence, Frogmore Cottage, which they promised they would do after they shared their royal obligations in January.

In a statement to People, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reports that Harry has fully covered the $3 million in renovation costs, which was originally paid by a UK fund called the Sovereign Grant, funded by taxpayers.

Originally, the couple was planning to pay their debt back over time, but after signing a major multi-year Netflix deal thought to be around $150 million, they apparently decided to do it all back in one go.

Harry and Meghan moved into Frogmore in April of 2019, not long before the birth of their son, .

Originally bought by Queen Charlotte in 1790, the Markles' renovations transformed the space into a luxury family home that included 10 bedrooms and a new nursery plus space for a gym and yoga studio.

But not even an in-home yoga studio was enough to keep them on the same continent as Harry's family.

Last month, they moved to Montecito, an unincorporated community in Santa Barbara, and last week, they signed their deal with Netflix.

“Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,” the couple told the New York Times.

“As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.”

Now that they've paid off their Frogmore debt, how will they spend their remaining Netflix money?
