Lilibet’s Christening: Has it Happened Yet?
It has been a long-standing rumor that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, would bring their one-year-old daughter Lilibet to the UK to be christened in line with royal tradition.
However, in the couple's explosive Netflix documentary, the youngster's christening was addressed with their close friend Tyler Perry, confirming he'd been asked to be a godfather.
But it remains unclear if the christening has actually taken place, although Tyler dropped hints about the involvement of the royals.
It comes in the final episode of The Six Parter, when he said Harry and Meghan called him to ask if he would be Lily's godfather.
In the same episode, Harry and Meghan share footage and photos of baby Lilibet, who's rarely been seen since her birth last June.
Harry said, “I think at the moment I see a lot of my wife in Archie and I see a lot of my mum in Lily.

She's very Spencer-like, she's got the same blue eyes, sort of like a golden reddish hair.”
Just because Tyler Perry was asked to be godfather doesn't mean Lily's baptism ever happened.
Royal fans believe Lilibet hasn't been officially christened yet.
One said, “There's no way a christening was so important to them that they went and had a small, tasteful, private baptism with just them and Tyler Perry there.
No way.
If it couldn't be a huge publicly funded affair that they were so desperate to remain private, then it wouldn't happen at all.”
Agreeing, another commented, “True, a picture of it would have been in the Netflix series at the least.
They seem to be saving up releasing pictures for years so they could show them on the series.
Only other possibility is they're saving a picture or mention of it in Harry's book, but that's doubtful.”
The third added, “No photo of the queen, no income, no point.
They'll likely continue to pretend they have so people discuss it.
For example, dropping hints about godparents, when Perry doesn't say he did it at all.
Just that he was asked.
Ironic given how pathetic, huffy and brattish they were about Archie's super secret godparents.
No one cares anymore.
Meghan wouldn't even consider the religious element.”
Back in 2021, NBC Royal correspondent Neil Sean claimed that the former Suits actress ran into a block while planning the ceremony.
Harry's brother Prince William, who didn't think it would be a good idea for the couple to host the christening.
One of the bigger problems that Meghan really encountered of late is that she wanted her daughter Lilibet Diana to be christened in St. George's Chapel, the place she was married alongside her husband Prince Harry.
And then the christening of her firstborn Archie, but that came to a grinding halt.
Both Harry and Meghan were very keen to make that return and make sure that christening happened, particularly in front of her majesty the queen.
Some people may say they're just capitalizing on their royal connection, and why not?
It's how they make money now.
But moving forward, there was one person who basically decided there wasn't an appetite for this, and the person that seemingly is so far not willing to kiss and make up with his younger brother.
