They also added that the Jubilee celebrations are meant to celebrate the Queen's 70 years of service to the nation and should not be overshadowed.

Meanwhile, is set to return to the UK on July 1 for the unveiling of a statue to honour his late mother on what would have been her 60th birthday.

Russell Myers, royal editor for The Mirror, revealed that Harry would like to attend the event but the imminent birth of his second child could keep him and in California.

Myers said, “the thing in being told is they still really want to be there, both of them.

Certainly, William and Kate will be there.

But whether Harry can fly over there because the baby is imminently due this summer, it will certainly be in the next couple of weeks.”

It had been hoped that Prince Harry's return to the UK for the statue unveiling could help mend his relationship with his brother William.

Relations have been strained since Harry stepped back from his royal duties last year and moved with his wife to live in the US.

However, the two attended their grandfather Prince Philip's recent funeral.

Myers added, “it's been talked about for so many months now, this deteriorating relationship.

And the issue is that Harry is expecting a second child, a baby girl on the way, and whether they will attend together or whether they will make separate speeches.”

The unveiling of 's statue has been long in the making, with the initial plans being put together in 2017 by William and Harry.

The event is significant as it would have been Diana's 60th birthday.

In conclusion, Prince Harry's attendance at the Jubilee celebrations could cause a fresh headache for the royal family.
