Royal Family News
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been demoted on the Royal Family’s official website.
The couple now appear below eight other members of the firm, with Prince Harry even ranking lower than his uncle Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.
The site lists profiles of each member of the Royal Family, headed by the Queen, followed by her eldest son Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, Princess Anne, and Prince Andrew.
Royal watchers must scroll halfway down the page to see Prince Harry's photo and biography, while Meghan appears just above the Queen's cousin, Princess Alexandra.
The website also provides a detailed description of the work and service each member has conducted, including references to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision to step back as senior members of the Royal Family.
According to the website, the couple is balancing their time between the UK and North America while continuing to honor their duty to the Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages.
Frogmore Cottage in the UK remains their family home.

The Duchess will continue to support charitable causes and organizations that reflect the issues with which she has long been associated, such as the arts, access to education, support for women, and animal welfare.
Meanwhile, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex have taken part in a rare interview and addressed the current ongoings within the Royal Family.
The Countess of Wessex emphasized that the Royals are still a family no matter what happens amid recent tensions in the wake of Megshae.
Speaking from their Surrey mansion, Prince Edward added that they were flattered to be taking on a more prominent role in a slimmed-down monarchy.
Sophie also confirmed in an interview with The Telegraph magazine that she had a lengthy chat with Harry after the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral in April.
On their subtle change of role within the firm, Sophie said, “We've plodded along doing what we're doing, hopefully doing it well.
And then all of a sudden there's a bit of a hiatus and things have changed a bit.
Naturally, the media are looking for people to fill the so-called void.
If people want to pay more attention to what we're doing, then great.”
