Meghan Markle to Receive Honorary Award at 2022 GQ Men of the Year Awards

The Glitzy 2022 GQ Men of the Year Awards in London is set to honor the Duchess of Sussex, , with an honorary gong.

According to an unnamed source, Meghan will receive one of the top awards of the evening in recognition of her charity work.

The event is scheduled to take place on November 16 at the Tate Modern, and the Duchess is expected to attend.

The annual bash is known for attracting A-listers, such as the Beckhams, Ed Sheeran, and Idris Elba.

Last year, the Duke of Sussex appeared at the awards via video link from California.

The tickets for the awards show cost £5,999.

The source revealed that Meghan has been offered one of the top awards of the evening for charity work, describing it as a massive coup for her.

The Duchess already has a close relationship with GQ due to her friendship with Vogue's editor-in-chief Edward N. Enfield, who is also owned by Condé Nast.

Edward is very much seen as a friend rather than a business acquaintance.

The GQ Men of the Year awards usually take place in September, but earlier this summer, the event was postponed without any explanation.

Insiders said the change was put in place solely to accommodate Meghan and should they wish to attend.

The swanky showbiz bash is one of the most exclusive events in the UK calendar, with David and Victoria Beckham regulars, and the likes of Madonna, Dua Lipa, and designer to the stars Donatella Versace all attending in previous years.

Due to their mini-tour of Europe, Meghan wouldn't have been able to attend if the awards went ahead on their original date in September.

Talks about the evening were already happening before the Queen's passing, so no doubt things will have to be re-evaluated to make sure it's as respectful as possible.

However, despite the exciting news of Meghan's honorary award, there are still some controversies surrounding her.

Recently, a book was published alleging that Meghan bullied royal staff and gave clear evidence to shut her mouth.

Bad news for Meghan is that all the staff have now come together to bring Meghan and Harry to trial.

It will happen soon.

Moreover, King Charles has put his foot down, and the Sussexes will be exiled, and their children will have no titles at all.

With these obstacles on her way, will Meghan have enough courage to come back to London?

It remains unknown what the narcissist is thinking.

If Meghan arrives in London alone, will she be cheered or booed?

There may be many boos to welcome Meghan, or worst, she will be welcomed by empty streets because no one cares.

Regardless, the Duchess of Sussex is set to receive an honorary award at the 2022 GQ Men of the Year Awards, and we can't wait to see her on the red carpet.
