Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, reportedly requested Reese Witherspoon to appear as a guest on her podcast, Archetypes, but was declined by the actress.

According to New Idea, Markle was upset with Witherspoon's decision because she really wanted her on board.

The rumor is that Markle wanted Witherspoon on an episode examining the bimbo trope, given her role in Legally Blonde, but ultimately went with Paris Hilton.
