Kate, The Great: Princess of Wales Beats Meghan Markle in Fashion Stakes
The late Princess Diana has long been hailed as a fashion icon, but it seems that her daughter-in-law, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, is giving her a run for her money.
According to a recent study conducted by fabric experts Dalston Mill Fabrics, Kate Middleton's style is one of the most influential in the world, beating out even her rival, Meghan Markle.
Dubbed “Kate, the Great” by fans, the future queen came in 4th overall on the list, behind only Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, and Kendall Jenner.
In contrast, Meghan placed a distant 13th, and wasn't even the second most stylish royal, with Princess Diana coming in at number 10.
The study analyzed Google search data for various style-related terms for over 200 famous women around the world to establish who has the most influential style.
Kate Middleton's fashion has an average of 41,800 monthly searches made globally, with the search term “Kate Middleton fashion” searched 9,500 times each month and “Kate Middleton style” searched 15,000 times monthly.

Meghan had 23,880 searches each month.
But it's not just fashion where Kate is winning out.
According to New Idea, Catherine could be gearing up for a first-ever TV interview now that she's Princess of Wales.
She's reportedly been approached by several television networks to do a wide-ranging TV interview, in which producers are eager to have her open up about her life as Prince William's wife and about her family.
A source told the publication that although Catherine is not a natural public speaker and used to be overcome by nerves in interviews, she has come through a lot in the past few years and she's stronger, more confident, and ready to have a voice of her own.
The insider claimed that Prince William is fully supportive of his wife because he was never a big fan of the royal protocol of never complaining and never explaining.
Royal expert Phil Dampier thinks that the Princess of Wales must have a lot to share or express.
Although he admits he's not privy to details about any future TV interviews, he agrees that she must feel like screaming from the rooftops about what she really thinks.
He told the publication that Catherine must be tempted to do a no-holds-barred interview, saying, “It's a big if, but if Kate did do a sit-down chat, she'd want to defend herself and her family.”
She could allegedly respond to Meghan Markle in her claims that she made Kate cry in the lead up to her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
Dampier is certain that if an interview happens, then Prince Harry and his wife would fear Kate speaking out because she could directly refute some of their claims.
But he noted that she wouldn't want it to turn into a slanging match, but if Catherine were to speak out in a TV interview, then it would reportedly stop Meghan in her tracks.
The source claimed that the interview would certainly eclipse any ratings Meghan generated.
Everyone wants to know Kate's side of the story.
Besides, Royal expert Kate Nicholl has revealed in a book, The New Royals, that a key moment made Prince William and Catherine realize they needed to up their game due to Meghan Markle's own skills.
Referring to the 2018 appearance at the Royal Foundation Forum by the former Fab Four, Ms. Nicholl writes, “It was, according to one aide, the moment William and Kate, who's heavily pregnant realized they needed to up their game.
The Cambridges had already signaled their intention to be more than ornamental royals and had, along with Harry, made such a huge success of their mental health campaign, Heads Together.
But Meghan was the breakout star of the foursome.
She was polished, passionate, and funny, using all her TV-owned skills to present her case.”
That was a wake-up moment for William and Kate when they realized that Meghan was very impressive, very confident, and very capable according to a source.
