The image was taken two years before Meghan met her future husband, , and has caused quite a stir among royal fans.

In the photo, Meghan is standing beside a friend while holding a copy of Irish You magazine.

On the cover, the Duchess of Cambridge can be seen holding a copy of the same magazine and standing beside its deputy editor, Denise Cash.

The headline on the magazine incorrectly claims that Kate is pregnant with twins.

The image was shared by GB News presenter Dan Wootten on his Twitter account, along with an emoji of three sneering cats.

This post drew a lot of attention from Twitter followers who support Kate and see Meghan as a fan of hers.

One follower even commented that “deep down she wants to be like her [Kate].

When she saw that she couldn't be, then she lost the plot.”

However, supporters of Meghan also chimed in, with one person commenting on how gorgeous she looked in the photo.

They also brought up the infamous incident where Kate made Meghan cry in the run-up to the wedding, saying that jealousy is tough.
