Meghan Markle’s Niece Defends Her Against Squabbling Relatives

Noelle Rasmussen, the niece of , has called for an end to the family feud that has been tearing them apart.

She pleads with her squabbling relatives to stop sniping at the royal bride-to-be and get behind her on her big day next month.

Noelle warns that their constant bickering is ripping the family apart and calls for a truce.

She hopes that the wounds will be healed and that they will all come together to support Meghan, whether they are at Windsor or back home in America.

According to Noelle, things have been crazy ever since Meghan and got together, but she thinks it will die down.

She believes that Meghan is doing the best she can in the public eye and that it's in her nature to be a good person who won't want any bad feelings.

Noelle admires Meghan and has always looked up to her, like a big sister she never had.

Meghan took her shopping for kids' books and clothes and taught her how important it was to read books.

Noelle describes Meghan as kind, genuine, very thoughtful, and warm.

Noelle is embarrassed by the way some of her relatives have treated Meghan, especially her mum, Samantha, 53.

Samantha, Meghan's half-sister, last week told to man up and accused him of hypocrisy by talking about humanitarianism while allowing Meghan to ignore the Markles.

Noelle has not spoken to her mother for four years and says that she has to stop what she's doing.

She thinks that her mother likes the attention being Meghan's sister gives her and the spotlight and 15 minutes of fame.

Noelle believes that her mother is hurt that she didn't get an invite to the wedding.

Noelle says that there's a select few in the family, like her and her young cousins Thomas 3 and TJ, who haven't asked for anything.

It's the older ones who have been causing the war of words which is ripping the family apart.

They seem to be the ones expecting handouts and favors, but Noelle thinks that it's not fair to Meghan.

On Thursday, Tom Markle JNR, 51, criticized his 36-year-old divorcee half-sister for failing to invite him to the Windsor Castle ceremony.

He also claimed that the US actress lost touch with relatives when she became a Hollywood star and accused her of forgetting her flesh and blood.

However, Noelle believes that it's understandable where Uncle Tom's emotions are coming from as that is his sister after all.

She doesn't think that Meghan has ever thought of herself as above anyone else.

The last time Noelle saw Meghan was at her mum's graduation ceremony in 2008.

At the time, Meghan's career was taking off, and she was busy, but she still made time for them.

Noelle didn't think then that Meghan thought of herself as a star in the making.

Noelle really hopes that her grandfather, also called Tom, goes to London and walks his daughter down the aisle.

She believes that her half-sibling Ashley Hale, based in Virginia and a lawyer like Meghan's Suits character Rachel Zane, may secretly have an invitation.

Noelle knows that Ashley and Meghan have been close, so it would not surprise her at all.
