35 Million Dollars Missing From British Royal Family’s Finances: Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle To Blame?

The British royal family has been hit with a financial scandal as 35 million dollars seem to be missing from their finances.

Recent tabloid stories are pointing fingers at and , but are they really to blame?

Let's take a closer look at the scandal and see what's really going on with the British monarchy.

Women's Day made claims earlier this year that the royal family's finances took a hit from the pair.

The palace released a statement stating that the banks should expect to run at a 35 million dollar loss by March 2021, and the tabloids believe they know where the money went.

Women's Day made similar claims back in October.

is supposedly facing scrutiny over the money management of his charities.

But did and Prince Harry actually steal the money?

Markle stated that the royal family didn't pay for the security expenses, but there is no evidence that they took the money.

In Touch reported on the King's reaction to the rumor of the pair draining the family of 35 million dollars.

According to the tabloid, the King is not happy with Prince Harry in his new memoir and plans to stop the release by taking the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to court and suing for 35 million dollars in damages if they don't back down.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are pleased with the outcome after months of having a Netflix crew following their every move to capture footage for the docuseries Harry and Meghan.

Despite the program potentially exacerbating their ongoing rift with the royal family, a source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said they have no major regrets about comments they made.

They said Meghan and Harry don't have any major regrets about doing the docuseries and will be seeing Harry elaborate about his relationship with his family in spare.

In the six-part documentary, the Duke of Sussex said they'd never been allowed to tell their story and wanted to share with the public how their decision to quit their royal career unfolded.

The pair had previously discussed their move away from the UK in a 90-minute interview with talk show host on the one-year anniversary of their departure, but Harry and Meghan delved into the details of the crisis including accusations against the royal institution and the British media.

The Duke openly accused Kensington Palace of contributing to negative coverage about him and the Duchess after failing to support them respond to public criticism.

He claimed that palace aides regularly traded news stories about other royals to have articles about their employer removed.

A practice he says he witnessed the King's office engaging in during the years of his bitter separation from Diana.

Prince Harry said, “There's leaking but there's also planting of stories.

So if the communications team want to be able to remove a negative story about their principal, they'll trade and give you something about someone else's principle.”

The Duke insisted he'd come to an agreement with years ago to avoid such tactics because of the impact it had on their mother but claimed that his brother's team broke the deal.

He added, “I'd far rather get destroyed in the press than play along with this game or this business of trading.

To see my brother's office copy the very same thing that we promised the two of us would never do, well that was heartbreaking.”

Despite his grievances with the royal family, Harry admitted to missing spending time together and missing the UK.

He added, “I miss the weird family gatherings when we're all sort of brought together under one roof for certain times of the year.

I miss that.

Being part of the institution meant that was in the UK so I miss the UK as well.

I miss my friends.

I've lost a few friends in the process as well I mean I came because I was changed.

I changed to the point that I'd outgrown my environment.”
