Meghan and Harry’s Property Ambitions: Plans to Expand Their Portfolio

and are apparently spending more than they earn on jewellery and clothing.

Last year, Meghan debuted $143,000 worth of new jewellery and clothes, which would imply that their Netflix and Wall Street investments were lucrative.

However, reports suggest that moving trucks have been spotted at their Montecito mansion, and it has been alleged that the couple has been living separately for some time now.

Earlier this year, they were already looking to sell their Montecito house, and according to sources, they're thinking of selling their house there, but only to those who are serious buyers with funds.

According to Heat UK, there's more to it than just selling their house.

Meghan and Harry want to expand their property portfolio on a global scale, strengthening their connections across the US and around the world.

They're happy in Montecito, but it's a little isolated from a socializing point of view, so they're looking to purchase a small townhouse or beach pad in Beverly Hills or Malibu.

Then, they might consider different houses in Montecito.

This year, they want to broaden their horizons and mingle a whole lot more.

Therefore, an apartment in Manhattan is also on their shopping list, and possibly Washington DC too.

Their current place requires a lot of upkeep, and they think it may not be worth it if they won't be based there full time.

Meanwhile, the Sussexes could lose their Frogmore Cottage in the UK.

After their move, they allowed Harry's cousin and her family to stay at the place, but Eugenie's husband got a job in Portugal, and the couple would be splitting their time between a luxury resort in Portugal and Frogmore Cottage.

The Sussex couple has renewed their lease on the property and paid back the renovation costs spent on the house.

King Charles III is still figuring out who will be residing in the various royal residences and who would not.

As he debates which royal residence will become his main office, he's reportedly planning on how to manage the many stately homes owned by the royal family across the nation.

It's believed that it's a possibility that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could lose Frogmore Cottage.

According to a recent report, many royal fans are supporting Charles' plans for a slimmed-down monarchy, which will reduce the amount of money taxpayers spend.

However, this could further alienate Harry and Meghan, according to a piece published by New Idea magazine.

Despite all this, Harry's memoir is still on track for a release towards the end of this year, and Meghan could pen one as well.

She recently shared that she found the journal she kept when she was still in the royal family fold.

With this revelation came a slight hint that she could say whatever she wanted because she didn't sign anything that would have prevented her from doing so.

Crystal Martin on Quora said that moving trucks were spotted at the Montecito mansion, and she was also told that they sold their house.

Although it's only alleged that the couple has been living separately for some time now, sources suggest that Meghan and Harry are expanding their property portfolio on a global scale, looking to purchase a small townhouse or beach pad in Beverly Hills or Malibu, and an apartment in Manhattan or Washington DC.

Their current place requires a lot of upkeep, and they think it may not be worth it if they won't be based there full time.

The Sussexes could also lose their Frogmore Cottage in the UK, but there's no confirmation yet.
