Meghan Markle’s Attempts to Meddle in US Politics Criticized by Americans

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has come under fire for her attempts to meddle in US politics.

Critics have claimed that she is not special in the eyes of Americans, and her actions have been met with fuming responses.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly phoned the private phone numbers of some US senators to lobby them to push forward certain parental leave and climate change policies at the government level.

According to reports, Meghan phoned two senators, Shelley Moore Capito and Susan Collins, on a withheld number and told them who she was when they answered.

However, her interference in the US political world has not gone down well with US citizens, who took to Twitter to express their opinions.

One Twitter user called Proud Army Brat wrote, “No one in America gives a shit about Meghan Markle, Harry, or Charles.

In America, they're no one special at all.”

Another user called Dr. Red Wave reacted to the tweet by saying, “Spot on.”

Another response from Twitter user Barbara Rajkv stated, “Yes, and I am tired of hearing about these two especially Meghan.

She wanted to come back to America to get out of the public eye and now she jumps at every opportunity to be in the public eye of America.

Just sickening.”

In related news, a royal author claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have done Prince Charles and Prince William a favor by leaving the royal family.

According to biographer Andrew Morton, who recently published an updated version of his book Meghan and the Unmasking of the Monarchy, Sussex had benefited Charles and William in a surprising way.

Charles will inherit the throne after Queen Elizabeth, and there are reports that he would like to slim down the monarchy.

As a result, Harry and Meghan leaving the royal family was a step toward this new vision.

“I think the irony is that Prince Charles and Prince William saw themselves as being the leaders of the slimmed-down monarchy,” Morton told Salon.

“In a way, Harry and Meghan have done them a favor by jumping ship, rather than being asked to walk the gangplank.

They would have had a supportive role, and their position would have been progressively lower down the pecking order, as Louis, and Charlotte, and George, all came into maturity.”

Morton also compared Harry's situation to that of Prince Andrew, the Queen's second son.

He added, “It's rather like Prince Andrew, who was at one point second in line for the throne.

Now he's way down the order.

Meghan and Harry have got a generation to really make an impact.

Then afterwards, it'll be, oh, Meghan who?”

Furthermore, Morton said, “I think Harry will focus on his relationship with his father and brother.

Obviously, he will include his mother.

One of the things that everybody has said about Harry is that he'll give a straight answer to a straight question.

And that's what we can expect.”

However, royal author and publisher Andrew Loney believes Harry's personal account could prove to be a step too far for the firm.

He told that the memoir could sour Harry's already tricky relationship with his family.

“I think given the fact that he's doing his tell-all book, I would have thought that's the final straw for them,” he said.

An insider told the Daily Mirror, “Ever since leaving royal life, Harry and Meghan have made claim after claim of how they allege they have been treated.”

Although Harry and Meghan are no longer active members of the royal family, Harry and their kids are still in the line of succession.

Harry is sixth place.

Meanwhile, Archie is seventh and Lilibet is eighth.

Archie and Lilibet currently do not go by any titles.
