Meghan Markle has reportedly informed Prince Harry that she wants to sell their $20 million Montecito mansion and build her own castle from scratch.

According to a tabloid, Meghan has been struggling to find a home that suits her since moving to London from Toronto four years ago.

Kensington Palace, Frogmore Cottage, Vancouver Island, and even Tyler Perry's Hollywood home did not suffice.

Harry was blindsided by Meghan's announcement, as he was finally feeling at home in Montecito.

The couple has everything they could ever want on their estate, including a playground for the kids and a tennis court.

He is struggling to understand why she is unsatisfied.

Meghan's constant indecisiveness is causing tension between the couple, who have barely been in their home for two years.

However, Meghan is said to be unperturbed by Harry's hesitation.

Insiders confirm she is actively looking for prime land in both Los Angeles and the celebrity desert enclave of Palm Springs to raise Archie and Lilibet.

She is interested in the super-private and ultra-exclusive gated community of Hidden Hills in L.A., where lots alone sell for around $2 million.

The area is known for its rich and famous residents like the Kardashians, who are looking for privacy on spectacular mountaintops but within driving distance of Hollywood.

Meghan has also made discreet inquiries about snapping up a vacant lot at Palm Springs' Madison Club Estates, where celebrities like Kris Jenner and Cindy Crawford own new builds ensconced within a designer golf course surrounded by high walls.

She has a grand vision and is laser-focused on the plans for this home, says a source, who adds that Meghan is determined to build her very own Buckingham Palace in California.

However, building her own castle won't come cheap, warns an insider.

Prices have gone up and up, and playing Keeping Up with the Joneses in Tinseltown is never a good idea.

Time will tell if Meghan's big plan will come to fruition.

In the past, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly made an inappropriate request to the Queen that was immediately rejected.

After their 2018 wedding, the couple was hunting for a house since Harry's two-bedroom cottage in Kensington Palace did not provide enough room.

The couple went to the Queen and asked if they could live at Windsor Castle, a request that was refused.

Royal expert Hugo Vickers reasoned why the Queen may have decided to deny their request, saying it might not have been entirely appropriate.

He added that there are empty bedrooms and suites in the private apartments within Windsor Castle which the Sussexes may have had their eye on, or perhaps some former living quarters in the castle grounds converted into other things.

Regarding the news, one commenter suggested that perhaps the Queen, already acquainted with Markle's bullying, didn't want her and Harry anywhere near her home.

As for coming back, they aren't invited.

The whole year last year was about whether they would or would not come back.

They haven't and won't.
