Megan Markle’s Latest Spotify Podcast Episode Features Her Mother

Megan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has released a new episode of her Spotify podcast, Archewell Audio.

The latest episode is titled “Good Wife, Bad Wife, Good Mum, Bad Mum” and features a short clip of her talking to her mother, Doria Ragland.

During the podcast, Doria video-called Megan while she was recording, leading to some quirky anecdotes about their relationship.

Megan shared with her listeners that a few weeks ago, while she was working on this very episode, her mum called her via Facetime.

In a clip from the call, Megan can be heard exclaiming, “Oh sugar!”

before answering and saying, “Hey mummy.”

Doria then asked how her daughter was doing, to which Megan responded, “I’m okay, I’m hanging in there, I’m okay, I’m recording right now, do you want to see?

We’re just doing some podcasting.”

Megan then told her listeners that it was just a regular mother-daughter conversation.

There has been speculation that Doria Ragland did not return to be a visible presence in Megan’s life until she had a steady paycheck on Suits and then royal life.

Some have even suggested that she may be paid to appear.

Alright gang, my mum literally just pulled out a reference of what I came up with as a cool handshake to do with her when I was about 8, which was snap scissors cut chicken,” she said laughing.

“I’m 41 years old and she’s like okay,” she laughed into the microphone, “it’s great, and it just put me right back into the past thinking about my childhood and our little quirks.”
