Following the historic coronation ceremony, royal expert Angela Mollard praised Princess Charlotte as the royal family's secret weapon in her column for 7 News.

During comparisons to Princess Anne, the sister of King Charles and renowned as the hardest-working royal, Mollard predicted that Princess Charlotte would play a similar role to her brother George, just as Princess Anne has for King Charles III.

King Charles's own personal history includes a complex love life.

While married to Diana, Princess of Wales from 1981 until 1996, he still carried a deep affection for his former girlfriend, Parker Bowles.

After Diana's tragic death in 1997, Charles and eventually married in 2005, with Camilla assuming the title of Queen Consort alongside her husband.
