The Queen Celebrates 93rd Birthday with Kate, William and Harry at Easter Sunday Service
The Queen looked stunning in a duck egg blue ensemble as she celebrated her 93rd birthday by attending an Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel.
Her Majesty was accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex at Windsor Castle, although pregnant Meghan was absent.
Zara and Mike Tyndall, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Sophie Countess of Wessex, her son James Viscount Severn, and Peter and Autumn Phillipsson were also present for the seasonal service.
Kate, who wore a recycled lilac Alexander McQueen cult dress, was all smiles as she greeted her grandmother-in-law with a curtsy outside the chapel.
She previously wore the gown in 2014 on a three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Earlier today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent birthday wishes to Her Majesty, writing on Instagram, “Happy birthday Your Majesty, Mom, Granny.
Trending:
Wishing you the most wonderful day.
Harry and Meghan.”
Prince Harry, who walked towards the chapel beside Princess Anne instead of his brother William, managed to match his tie to his grandmother's colour scheme.
Pregnant Meghan, who was expected to give birth any day, was not present at the service.
Princess Beatrice arrived on the arm of her father Prince Andrew, wearing a blue embellished dress by Clare Mischevany and a copper cocktail hat by London milliner Juliette Bottrell.
Like Kate, Zara Tindall also opted for a coat-dress style, with a complimentary pale pink felt cocktail hat by Sarah Kant.
Her former rugby player husband matched his tie to his wife's pink accessories.
Elizabeth II, who has a strong faith, usually celebrates Easter at Windsor Castle by joining members of her family at a service in St George's Chapel.
Later today at Buckingham Palace, the Band of the Irish Guards will perform a rendition of “Happy Birthday” in her Honourama IV court as part of the Changing of the Guards ceremony.
