Sarah Ferguson Confuses Fans with Instagram Post Hours After Princess Beatrice’s Royal Wedding

's wedding was a surprise for everyone when news emerged that she had tied the knot at a small ceremony in Windsor on Friday morning.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the news shortly after reports emerged with a statement, but bride Beatrice herself and her friends and family are yet to speak out on the joyous day.

However, just hours after the royal wedding ceremony of and property developer Edoardo Maipoli-Masi at Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor, the bride's mother Sarah Ferguson spoke out in an Instagram post.

Her mother Sarah didn't let a royal wedding, even her daughters, stop her from sharing her usual story time with friends on her Instagram account but left fans very confused.

Many who were no doubt waiting for her to address her daughter's big day were surprised to see her normal feed.

She wrote, “Today at 4pm on story time with Fergie and friends, I'm going to be drawing baby elephants with David William Press and my guest friend is mark.lisk.

Many fans used the post to congratulate Sarah and her daughter on the big news, with one writing, “Congratulations to your daughter Princess Beatrice and Edo, so lovely to hear some good news for a change.

I hope you all have a beautiful day.”

Another said, “Many congratulations on the wedding of Princess Beatrice and Edo.

Wonderful news.

You must be very pleased.”

However, others were confused as to whether Fergie was at the reception or not and called her post sneaky for pretending it was a normal day.

One said, “Surely you'll be sticking round Windsor for dinner and dancing.

Ooh sneaky posting like an ordinary day when B got married.

Many congratulations to the bride, groom and family.

I hope there's a photo we're dying to see her.”

Another wrote, “It's likely the Duchess had scheduled the post and also the story time video which will be published later.

She is thought to indeed be at Windsor celebrating her daughter's big day.

What a professional for keeping things rolling.”
