Meghan and Harry Fuming as Royal Family Shows Little Sympathy

The Sussexes are set to return to their Montecito kingdom, pretending to care about the Queen and how moving it was to see the family pull together in their time of grief.

However, royal expert and author of Revenge, Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, Tom Bauer, has said that they will instead draw more of a victimhood narrative to get media coverage.

Bauer told GB News that he believed Harry and Meghan looked quite angry during the funeral of the late monarch because they were not being afforded the respect that they think they deserve.

He also said that the whole way the rest of the royal family treated Meghan and Harry showed that they had very little sympathy towards them.

Tensions between the Sussexes and the Cambridges were rumoured to have improved during the past fortnight, with both couples appearing together the weekend after the Queen's death.

However, Bauer said notions of reconciliation were nonsense because Meghan and Harry have said such terrible things in the past.

Bauer also speculated on what Sophie Wessex might have said to Meghan Markle as they drove in the limousine between Westminster Hall and the church.

He wondered if she told Meghan exactly what they all thought of her, given that Wessex is known for being a plain-speaking woman.

The idea that the body language between William and Harry showed reconciliation is, in Bauer's view, nonsense.

He pointed out that there can be no grounds for sympathy unless the Sussexes apologise for the terrible things they have said about William and his wife.

Bauer also noted that the Princess of Wales is no longer equal to Meghan, as Camilla is now Queen Consort and Catherine is now the Princess of Wales.

Meghan is still the Duchess of Sussex and doesn't get a title change.

During the mourning period for Her Majesty, there was a refreshing lack of media coverage of Meghan.

However, there were a ton of publications that were writing about her and publishing articles during the funeral.

Bauer called this “insanely tacky” and said it was precisely what Meghan wants.

The Daily Mail, a UK tabloid, spent the entire time from the passing of the Queen to the end of her funeral promoting Harry and Meghan.

It also moderated comments so readers could not complain.

While there was some mention of Harry and Meghan in other UK media, the Mail was running lead stories and fawning glowing copy of these two.

Bauer believes that Meghan will be looking for a way to make herself out to be the victim.

He pointed out that she can't use the race card as the effect has worn off, given that three people of colour delivered readings at the funeral.

If these individuals had thought that the royals, the late Queen or King were racist, they would not have agreed to speak.

In conclusion, it seems that tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family are still high.

The lack of sympathy shown towards Meghan and Harry during the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II has only served to fuel their anger.

While some may hope for reconciliation, Bauer believes that this is unlikely unless the Sussexes apologise for their past behaviour.

As for Meghan, it seems that she will continue to seek out ways to portray herself as a victim, despite the lack of evidence to support this claim.
