Harry and Meghan Denied Audience with Netherlands King Willem-Alexander During Invictus Games Visit

and will not be given an audience with the Netherlands King Willem-Alexander or offered a room in the Royal Palace during their Invictus Games visit.

Dutch authorities also said Harry and Meghan's close protection officers cannot be armed if they travel to the Netherlands.

Their decision to attend the Games has aroused controversy after their refusal to go to Prince Philip's memorial service at Westminster Abbey on March 29, when they would almost certainly have also received police protection.

A new poll has found that and should not visit the Netherlands for the Invictus Games.

In a poll that ran from 5 pm on Monday April 11 to 5 pm on Tuesday April 12, it asked, should Harry and Meghan go to Holland after snubbing UK?

A total of 2,481 people cast their votes with the vast majority, 88%, 2,160 people, voting no, Harry and Meghan should not go to Holland after snubbing the UK.

A further 11%, 284 people, answered yes while just 1%, 37 people, said they did not know either way.

Hundreds of comments were left below the accompanying article with readers sharing their views on Meghan and Harry traveling to Holland.

One user, ch1g said, they should stick to that private life that they shunned the UK for.

However, some thought that Meghan and Harry should be able to travel freely.

Username autoculto1 said, they are free to do whatever they want without constraints.

And username iconoclast wrote, they should do as they like.

While another user, Milton Keane's mum, said, they can go where they like, who cares.

Others were in agreement but said the Sussex should not return to the UK.

Username stars1 said, don't care where they go so long as it's not here.

And username olly smith wrote, anywhere except here in the UK will be fine.

Others commented that Harry had a right to attend as the founder of the Invictus Games.

Username huda fox had said, having set up the games, Harry has to attend.

And username tuesdaysm wrote, why shouldn't Harry with his wife go he's the founder of the games.

They added, it is something he clearly feels passionate about.

Username sapientum was in agreement commenting, of course they should.

Moreover, the new round of rage from royal fans comes after his wife Megan is now expected to attend the Invictus Games alongside the Duke of Sussex.

One irate commenter accused Megan of following the spotlight, writing on the social media app of course she will, cameras light action.

Some fans are convinced the Philip Memorial snub was partly due to the upcoming Netflix documentary Harry and Megan are working on, with attending the service not an option for the streaming giants camera crew.
