William and Kate to Skip Staying with Sussexes During US Visit: Royal Expert
Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are set to visit the United States in 2022 for the second ceremony of the Earthshot Prize.
However, they will not be staying with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their California mansion, according to royal expert Neil Sean.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Neil Sean's Daily News Headlines, Sean highlighted that several reasons would prevent the Cambridges from being accommodated by the Sussexes during their US tour.
Sean stated that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would be visiting several states and not just one place.
He went on to claim that there is speculation about where and when exactly the Duke and Duchess would reside during their visit.
Sean also joked about the possibility of William and Kate sharing the bathroom or even using the multi-blender in the kitchen at Harry and Meghan's home in Montecito.

However, Sean stressed that a visit is unlikely due to security reasons and not because of a royal rift.
He explained that the Montecito home of Prince Harry and Meghan is not secure by royal standards, and staying with the Sussexes would cause issues with their different security teams and differing security requirements.
Sean also pointed out that the Queen recently expressed concern over Prince William's safety after advising him not to travel in helicopters with his young family.
This advice could be another reason for the decision not to stay with the Sussexes.
Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdotti also dismissed rumors of a visit, stating that it's a lose-lose situation.
The Metropolitan Police protect the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, while Harry and Meghan pay for their private security brief.
Staying with the Sussexes would, therefore, be a security nightmare.
In October, the Duke of Cambridge said he was thrilled to host his environmental prize ceremony in the USA.
The Earthshot Prize aims to spread the message of urgency, optimism, and action to combat climate change.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also been praised for their efforts in steadying the ship in a rocky year for the monarchy.
The COVID-19 pandemic and the loss of senior members of the firm have meant that the Windsors have undertaken less than 60% of the engagements they were honoring two years ago.
However, Prince William is the only royal to have completed more duties this year than in 2019, while the Duchess of Cambridge has attended one fewer event than last year.
In conclusion, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will not be staying with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during their US visit due to security reasons and differing security requirements.
Despite rumors, a visit to Montecito seems unlikely, and the Cambridges will have to find alternative accommodation.
The Earthshot Prize ceremony in the USA is still set to go ahead, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continue to work hard to support the monarchy during these challenging times.
