Harry and Meghan Demand Balcony Appearance at Coronation

has reportedly contacted the Duke of Norfolk, who is responsible for arranging the coronation, to demand a balcony appearance for himself and his wife Meghan.

The 18th Duke of Norfolk is known for being the big boss when it comes to major ceremonial occasions, including overseeing and advising on the late Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations last June and her state funeral last September.

The Fitzell and Howards, one of the oldest aristocratic families in the country, are responsible for the family seat at Arindel Castle in West Sussex.

The grounds of the castle span 16,000 acres, forming the largest estate in the region.

The Duke of Norfolk knows that the guest list for the late Queen's coronation showed 8,000 people in attendance, but he has slashed this number with Charles' approval to 2,000.

As expected, demands are coming thick and fast from Montecito.

Harry, pushed by the ever-desperate actress to remain relevant, is demanding a balcony appearance for both of them.

Miss Markle will have told Harry, “you're the King's son, get us on that balcony.

We need to be seen rubbing shoulders with royalty or we're finished.”

The demand for a balcony appearance is now in the hands of the coronation organizer.

However, they have no chance of appearing on the balcony for King Charles' coronation despite requests.

A source close to the Sussexes claimed over the weekend that the pair had asked to be allowed on the balcony on the day of the coronation, before even confirming they'll be in attendance.

Specifically, they requested that their children, and , be included in the ceremony and that their entire family be included on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

But expert Angela Mollard argued that the King will likely deny their request to keep the focus on an increasingly smaller portion of the family.

Mollard said, “the latest thing you've said is they want to be on the balcony for the coronation while not giving a confirmation themselves that they're going to be there.

This is five weeks out.

They need some planning around this.

They need to know whether to set aside the chairs.

There's no chance they're going to be on the balcony.”

The Queen wanted a slimmed-down monarchy, and Charles is further enforcing that.

He's dealt beautifully with Andrew, and they need to turn around and say there's no chance they'll get a place on the balcony.

We know Meghan desperately wants those photos and videos of her next to the King and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Is Meghan, for a money shot, so willing to subject her kids to sensory overload, surrounded by scary strangers for money?

According to a source who spoke to OK!

magazine, and 's inclusion in the ceremony has never been a bone of contention because small children don't attend royal events of this scale due to restlessness and tantrums.

It remains to be seen whether Harry and Meghan will attend the coronation at all, let alone be granted a balcony appearance.

The Duke of Norfolk has a tough job ahead of him, balancing the desires of the royals with the traditions and protocols of the coronation ceremony.

In conclusion, it seems that Harry and Meghan are determined to remain in the public eye and maintain their relevance, even if it means making demands that go against tradition and protocol.
