Lady Pamela's hearing isn't what it used to be, so India has become her human hearing aid, taking important calls on her behalf.

According to India, the message from King Charles' personal secretary explained that the coronation would be much smaller than Queen Elizabeth II's, with only 1,000 guests instead of the previous 8,000.

This apparently is to alleviate the burden on the state.

The King himself sent his apologies and love, but Lady Pamela wasn't offended at all.

In fact, she called the new system very, very sensible, with invitations based on meritocracy rather than aristocracy.

Some may argue that the exclusion of Lady Pamela by Charles is a snub, but let's be real here.
