Prince George to Play Major Role in King Charles’ Coronation

Buckingham Palace has announced that , the nine-year-old son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, will play a major role in the coronation of King Charles next month.

The young prince will be one of the King's Four Pages of Honour, joining the procession through the nave of London's Westminster Abbey on May 6th.

While some may question whether a nine-year-old can handle such a big responsibility, a spokesperson for the Prince and Princess of Wales said that they are “very excited and delighted” that their son will be a page.

The spokesperson further added that it's something that his parents have thought long and hard about and are very much looking forward to.

He is usually accompanied by his younger sister, , with the siblings marking several firsts together, including their first attendance at the Christmas Day service in Sandringham in 2019 and their first official visit to Cardiff in 2020.

However, not everyone in the Royal Family is thrilled about George's part in the coronation.

According to royal commentator Tom Quinn, there is a bit of tension behind the scenes, with the Prince and Princess of Wales allegedly worried about the role Prince George will play.

They are concerned that it will be too much for him, causing tension within the Royal Family.

Despite the concerns, many have faith in Prince George's ability to rise to the occasion.

He always seems like a confident and capable young man, and we have no doubt he'll do his family proud.

The coronation itself is shaping up to be quite the spectacle, with King Charles' big day being a perfect combination of centuries-old traditions merged with modern sensibilities.
