Meghan got Special Treatment from the Queen

In recent reports, a royal analyst alleged that Meghan Markle got “special treatment” from the Queen.

Royal commentator Ashley Pearson says it could have enraged other royals in Channel 5's Harry and Meghan Vs The Monarch.

The Duchess was the first royal fiancée welcomed by Her Majesty to spend Christmas at Sandringham, according to the show.

“Here was a rare exception being made,” Queen Richard Kay says of Meghan Markle's ‘special treatment.' Kate Middleton was not allowed to spend Christmas with the royals at Sandringham as William's girlfriend.

“However, Meghan was doing just that.”

“This preferential care may have irritated other family members,” Ms Pearson says.

“Perhaps [Prince] Andrew and Sarah [Ferguson] because Sarah was famously disqualified from celebrating Christmas with her daughters and ex-husband.”

Last March, Meghan and Harry stood down from their senior royal positions.
